What you will do

• Define and drive the long-term evolution of Kotlin infrastructure with the Technical Lead.
• Plan and prioritize infrastructure initiatives while balancing immediate needs with long-term investments.
• Improve developer productivity and experience across local development, code review, CI, merge workflows, and engineering platforms.
• Guide build architecture, build performance, CI/CD, release infrastructure, artifact publication, and internal tooling.
• Secure development infrastructure through dependency management, reproducible builds, secrets, access management, build agents, and development environments.
• Coach engineers, support hiring, and align stakeholders across Kotlin and hirify.global engineering teams.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams or large technical initiatives.
• Experience with developer infrastructure, build systems, CI/CD, or internal engineering platforms.
• Understanding of software build systems and engineering workflows at scale.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to align multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to evaluate technical proposals, facilitate architectural discussions, and guide pragmatic decisions.
• Commitment to platform stability, systemic efficiency, developer empathy, and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience with TeamCity.
• Experience with Gradle and Kotlin build scripts.
• Knowledge of Kotlin or the JVM ecosystem.
• Experience with large monorepositories or internal developer platforms.
