Solutions Platform Engineer (Atlassian)

What you will do

• Own the demo estate, including Atlassian instance provisioning, seeded datasets, reference environments, teardown, and refresh.
• Build and maintain self-service sandbox environments for Solution Partners.
• Design automation that reduces technical overhead and improves time-to-demo for Sales Engineering and Solutions Architecture.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge bases for security questionnaires, RFPs, and trust center responses.
• Take field-built prototypes through production readiness, covering code ownership, hosting, deployment, and ongoing support with Engineering and DevOps.
• Monitor environment health, provisioning performance, and capacity while resolving technical bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or systems engineering.
• Hands-on administration and provisioning experience with Atlassian Cloud or Data Center, including Jira, Confluence, or Bitbucket.
• Experience operating self-service sandbox or demo environments with lifecycle management and seeded or synthetic data.
• Strong infrastructure automation, scripting with Python or Bash, and Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong technical writing and cross-functional collaboration skills across Solutions, Sales Engineering, Product Engineering, and DevOps.
