Senior Observability Developer (New Relic)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain New Relic observability solutions across multiple environments and accounts.
• Design cross-account telemetry aggregation, reporting, dashboards as code, and alert policies as code.
• Build and optimize NRQL queries for enterprise monitoring and analytics.
• Configure alert policies integrated with Opsgenie and future ServiceNow workflows.
• Support OpenTelemetry and ADOT telemetry ingestion into New Relic.
• Establish observability standards, governance, tagging strategies, and reliability improvements with engineering, operations, business, and audit stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in observability or SRE engineering.
• Experience with New Relic or an equivalent SaaS observability platform used as a multi-tenant consolidation layer.
• Experience with cross-account or cross-tenant telemetry aggregation and reporting.
• Experience working within technical, business, and audit observability segregation models.
• Working English proficiency sufficient for communication and technical assessment.

Nice to have

• AWS Bedrock AgentCore observability, including Transaction Search and GenAI Observability.
• Kinesis Firehose metric and log forwarding pipelines from CloudWatch to New Relic.
• Cost and token attribution modeling for GenAI workloads.
• Crossplane-based provisioning of observability resources.
