Expert Utilities Engineer (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Badr City, Egypt; onsite role

What you will do

• Direct the operation, maintenance, and optimization of HVAC, high-pressure boilers and steam systems, compressed air, industrial water treatment, and HV/MV power distribution.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for building infrastructure and life safety systems.
• Monitor utility consumption and implement solutions that improve energy efficiency and reduce the facility’s carbon footprint.
• Manage vendor service-level agreements and large-scale CAPEX projects, including utility loops and facility expansions.
• Supervise and develop facilities technicians while improving expertise in BMS, PLC automation, and MEP troubleshooting.
• Lead TPM, root-cause analysis, EHS audits, waste management, and chemical-handling compliance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial facilities management within high-volume manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong expertise in industrial HVAC, chiller plants, centrifugal or screw air compressors, and electrical switchgear.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external contractors on multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of building codes, fire regulations, environmental standards, ISO requirements, and OSHA requirements.
