External Manufacturing Technical Manager- MEA (Food Manufacturing): Leading product development, innovation, renovation, cost-out, and process excellence projects for co-packers across the MEA region with an accent on food formulation, industrialized product solutions, and quality compliance. Focus on managing technical milestones, approving trials and recipes, optimizing manufacturing processes, and coordinating Regulatory, Finance, Procurement, Factory, and Marketing stakeholders.

What you will do
- Lead product development activities for new product development, innovation, renovation, offload, value engineering, and process excellence projects within the co-packers portfolio.
- Translate R&D strategies, MEA objectives, and the innovation calendar into co-packer project actions.
- Lead the innovation bank and RIGHT Process implementation for external manufacturing in MEA.
- Own co-packer approvals for benchtop trials and recipe development, managing deliverables, milestones, records, and timelines.
- Develop and industrialize improved or cost-efficient products while ensuring quality attributes, risk management, and brand requirements.
- Collaborate with Regulatory, Finance, Procurement, Factory, and Marketing teams and ensure standards are applied by co-packers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a general science discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in FMCG food manufacturing.
- Proficient English is required.
- Knowledge of food production, product development concepts, product characteristics, analytical methods, and organoleptic attributes.
- Experience with hygienic design, thermal validation, cleaning validation, CIP optimization, HACCP, mixing and dosing, homogenization, emulsification, pumps, and fluid transport.
- Project management, leadership, analytical thinking, communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
