Packaging Development Associate Technologist - MEA (Packaging Development): Developing and improving packaging solutions for new and existing products in MEA with an accent on value engineering, alternative materials, packaging processes, and ESG initiatives. Focus on coordinating packaging trials, maintaining material specifications, supporting laboratory activities, and managing technical supplier relations.

What you will do

  • Support the development of new and improved packaging solutions for NPD, value engineering, and ESG projects in MEA.
  • Coordinate packaging development and improvement projects for existing and new products.
  • Create and maintain accurate packaging material specifications.
  • Follow up on sample studies and coordinate packaging trial plans and materials.
  • Develop alternative material and packaging process projects and carry out saving studies.
  • Support packaging laboratory activities and coordinate supplier relations for new product developments and technical specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering, or a degree in Food Technology.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Packaging Development.
  • Proficient English.
  • Knowledge of packaging formats, materials, material characteristics, analytical methods, and regulatory and legal aspects.
  • Knowledge of packaging machinery and operating principles.
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, project coordination, critical thinking, simplification, and communication skills.
