Architecture Automation Engineer (AI)

Location: Mountain View, United States, or remote within the United States; hybrid work

Salary: $120,000–$275,000 for early career, $175,000–$450,000 for mid career, or $275,000–$600,000 for senior career, plus equity.

What you will do

• Automate chip architecture design methodology and related workflows.
• Guide and tune AI coding agents for specialized engineering workflows.
• Automate documentation, test coverage reports, visualizations, and design artifacts.
• Manage product versioning and optimize simulation execution.
• Collaborate with architecture, microarchitecture, software, and physical design teams.

Requirements

• Strong background in automation, including LLM-based automation, and DevOps.
• Experience with compilers, intermediate representations, and instruction set architectures.
• Ability to perform the role in compliance with U.S. export control laws without obtaining an export license.
• Experience level is considered across early, mid, and senior career stages.

Nice to have

• Exposure to hardware design and EDA tools.
• Experience with Bazel or a similar build system.
