Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: New York Office; 4 days in person and Fridays remote

Salary: $275,000–$400,000 estimated total cash compensation annually, plus equity

hirify.global is Anthropic’s services venture, building and deploying applied AI products for companies with significant real-world needs.

What you will do

• Build AI products and agentic systems for enterprise clients on small teams of 2–5 engineers and a product manager.
• Set technical direction, own end-to-end technical outcomes, and write production-ready chirify.global.
• Apply software engineering discipline to frontier AI systems, including testable hypotheses, durable datasets, and reliable production behavior.
• Spend approximately 75% of the time coding and 25% working directly with clients, including CTOs.
• Understand client problems, explain technical tradeoffs, and ensure delivered systems meet business and user needs.
• Ship approximately two to three AI products per year across multiple domains.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience and experience shipping multiple complete products end to end.
• Ability to write elegant, production-ready chirify.global across multiple disciplines.
• Strong interest in applying software engineering fundamentals to AI systems and balancing mhirify.globall capabilities with system design.
• Experience communicating effectively with senior technical stakeholders and understanding how people use delivered products.
• High ownership, low ego, and strong integrity, with a willingness to work independently and support teammates.
• Comfort working onsite in New York four days per week, with Fridays remote.

Nice to have

• Background as an engineering leader, individual contributor, engineering manager, or founder.
• Experience working directly with CTOs or other senior technical decision-makers.
