Assistant or Associate Professor of Kinesiology

What you will do

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Kinesiology in traditional and online formats.
• Deliver courses in areas such as motor development and learning, adapted physical activity, fitness and wellness, exercise science, and human performance.
• Develop curriculum, assess programs, and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain a scholarly agenda appropriate for a tenure-track faculty appointment.
• Contribute to college and university service activities.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Human Performance, or a closely related field by December 2026; ABD candidates may be considered with a clearly established completion date.
• Evidence of strong teaching, research, and service.
• Understanding of contemporary approaches to exercise physiology, physical activity, health and wellness, and/or human performance.
• Ability to work at the Victoria Campus in Victoria, Texas.
