Engineer - Facilities & Operations

Location: Merrimack, NH, United States; full-time onsite

What you will do

• Perform preventive and remedial maintenance on building mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, chiller plant, generator, and UPS systems.
• Monitor building systems through Building Management Systems and correct deficient performance through adjustments, maintenance, and emergency response.
• Direct and assist vendors and contractors during repair activities.
• Read electrical riser and one-line diagrams to locate and correct faulty circuits and protective devices.
• Maintain daily engineering logs, communicate updates, and support department projects, procedures, and improvements.
• Support ISO-14001, ISO-27001, and SSAE-16/18 reporting requirements while completing critical maintenance on schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, trade school qualification, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of related facilities experience.
• Experience with building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or controls systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, construction documents, and operation and maintenance manuals.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, IT infrastructure, CMMS, BMS, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, work on rooftops and ladders, and be on call or work extended hours when needed.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience in a mission-critical environment.
• Licensed HVAC/refrigeration or electrical professional credentials.
