What you will do
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across assigned commercial properties.
- Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other major building systems.
- Respond to tenant service requests with a strong customer-service focus.
- Monitor equipment and identify potential problems before failures or tenant disruptions occur.
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects with vendors and contractors.
- Maintain service records and support life-safety systems, emergency response, and building-safety compliance.
Requirements
- Previous commercial building maintenance or building engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general mechanical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills.
- Ability to independently prioritize service requests and preventive maintenance responsibilities.
- Professional communication and customer-service skills when interacting with tenants.
- Ability to work effectively with property management, vendors, contractors, and engineering colleagues.
