What you will do

• Provide advanced manufacturing engineering support and technical leadership for production programs, process improvements, and manufacturing readiness.
• Develop and optimize BOMs, routings, manufacturing plans, tooling plans, work instructions, process standards, and production documentation.
• Lead complex process and product improvement initiatives across multiple process areas or program families.
• Lead new program introduction and production ramp-up by assessing manufacturability, identifying risks, and developing manufacturing plans.
• Use FMEA, RCCA, PHA, statistical analysis, control plans, mistake-proofing, and structured problem-solving methods to investigate and improve processes.
• Support capital equipment and tooling initiatives, customer and supplier interactions, audits, technical presentations, and resolution of complex manufacturing issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials science, or a related technical discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least six years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading cross-functional manufacturing, capital equipment, NPI, or operational improvement initiatives.
• Leadership, mentoring, communication, consensus-building, risk management, scheduling, and execution skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, RCCA, PFMEA/FMEA, statistical analysis, data-driven decision-making, CAD, Microsoft Office, ERP, MRP, MES, and QMS platforms.
