Salary: $111,300–$204,090 USD per year, depending on level

What you will do

  • Productionize and scale internally developed capital equipment, including laser powder bed fusion machines and automated assembly equipment.
  • Own manufacturing development for critical factory modules, subsystems, and processes.
  • Lead machine systems through build, commissioning, validation, qualification, and production handoff.
  • Develop work instructions, standard operating procedures, test procedures, and process documentation.
  • Lead troubleshooting, root-cause corrective action, and reliability improvements for machine uptime, quality, and repeatability.
  • Partner with design engineering, automation, software, operations, quality, supply chain, and R&D while mentoring engineers and technicians.

Requirements

  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to U.S. export controls.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Relevant experience: 1+ years for Engineer II, 5+ years for Senior Engineer, or 7+ years for Staff Engineer.
  • Experience owning complex technical areas and performing troubleshooting, RCCA, technical documentation, and manufacturing work.
  • Ability to work in an office and factory environment.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States is verified through E-Verify.

Nice to have

  • Experience with capital equipment or low-volume production.
  • Experience architecting and delivering custom capital equipment or industrial automation systems.
  • Experience with PLM, MES, configuration management, and change control.
  • Experience with tooling, fixtures, calibration tools, or test equipment.
