Sr Director US Insights and Analytics Enablement (AI)

Location: Cambridge, MA; hybrid role for US and Puerto Rico residents only

What you will do

• Serve as a strategic partner across Commercial, Business Units, Digital, Medical, and People & Culture to shape the future of Insights & Analytics.
• Identify, pilot, and scale AI-powered tools for analytics, insights generation, forecasting, data management, and commercial decision-making.
• Lead strategic capability and transformation initiatives across Analytics, Data Science, Forecasting, Data Management, and Market Research.
• Establish AI governance, compliance, ethical-use guardrails, and change-management strategies.
• Own program governance, roadmaps, timelines, risks, business cases, ROI frameworks, and sustainable adoption.
• Manage strategic technology and vendor partnerships while coordinating with global Insights & Analytics teams.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree plus an MS/PhD in a quantitative scientific field or advanced certification in modern data science or machine learning.
• At least 12 years of experience in Data, Analytics, Data Science, or AI, including advanced analytical or AI techniques.
• At least 5 years of management experience and proven leadership in highly matrixed environments.
• Proven success implementing AI models in the pharmaceutical industry and a strong understanding of life-sciences analytics.
• Experience with pharmaceutical data sources, analytics platforms, CRM, claims, market, media, customer data, data management, and business intelligence tools.
• Programming experience, preferably with SQL and Python, plus strong communication, strategic thinking, organizational awareness, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Relevant therapeutic-area experience in pharmaceutical analytics.
• Experience with tools and platforms such as OpenAI or other open-weight models, IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, Veeva, Salesforce, Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Segment, and LiveRamp.
