IT Digital Workplace Analyst III

Location: Hybrid in Herndon, Virginia; on-site with the team 2–3 days per week. Candidates should live within approximately 50 miles of the office.

Salary: $56,200–$73,700 USD base salary per year, plus bonus plans and benefits.

What you will do

• Provide first-line technical support by phone, email, and Jira, owning user issues from request through resolution.
• Investigate and resolve endpoint software, hardware, networking, and functionality problems across Windows and macOS devices.
• Configure and deploy hirify.global-imaged endpoints and additional software.
• Identify opportunities for self-service, zero-touch request fulfillment, and scripted automation of repeatable tasks.
• Document standard operating procedures, corrective actions, and knowledge-base content.
• Support onboarding, termination processes, vendor coordination, and major-incident troubleshooting with cross-functional IT teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 1–3 years of experience in service desk, end-user experience, or regional IT support.
• Exposure to Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Windows, and macOS.
• Basic understanding of DNS, DHCP, IP, LAN, wireless networking, and VPN concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in complex IT infrastructure environments, learn new technologies quickly, and improve service processes.
• Ability to work from the Herndon, Virginia office several days each week and live within approximately 50 miles.

Nice to have

• IT-related certifications such as A+, ITIL, Jamf, or Intune.
