Environmental, Health and Safety Manager (EHS)

Location: Cincinnati, OH, USA

Salary: $99,800–$137,300 per year; annual incentive plan target of 15%.

What you will do

• Support multiple business units with loss prevention programs, safety objectives, policies, procedures, and training.
• Advise business unit leadership on safety practices and promote proactive safety behaviors.
• Monitor implementation of safety programs and take corrective action when performance falls short of targets.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, Department of Transportation, and applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Manage return-to-duty programs and partner with HR and division leadership on work-related injuries.
• Participate in accident investigations, compliance inspections, and audits.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a safety professional.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. and a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and other applicable health and safety standards.
• Professional safety certification from a nationally recognized safety organization or a college degree in Safety Management.
• Successful completion of a 40-hour OSHA compliance course.
• Strong communication, writing, organization, customer service, and Microsoft Office skills.
