Project Manager (Defense Communications)

Location: Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, United States. Hybrid schedule with onsite attendance 3–4 days per week or as requested by the Government EACN Program Manager. Work is scheduled Monday–Friday within the Government's normal window of 6:30 AM–5:30 PM Central Time; approved travel within the continental United States may be required.

Supports the U.S. Air Force's Executive Airlift Communications Network under the Senior Leader Command, Control, and Communications Systems–Airborne program.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary contractor point of contact for overall contract management and performance.
• Supervise contract personnel and coordinate activities across Scott Air Force Base, Joint Base Andrews, and Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
• Track project milestones, points of contact, status, checklists, deliverables, and service performance metrics.
• Prepare monthly status reports and coordinate biweekly meetings with Government and gateway personnel.
• Coordinate technical deliverables, including white papers, installation and configuration guides, disaster recovery documentation, and configuration management materials.
• Maintain staffing continuity and operational coverage across the supported locations.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance required at contract award and throughout performance.
• Current Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
• Ability to meet the onsite requirements at Scott Air Force Base.
• Ability to serve as a prime-contractor employee with authority to oversee contract personnel and contractor functions.
• Ability to satisfy Government access, security training, and Department of Defense workforce qualification requirements.
• Ability to manage a multi-site technical services program and communicate status, dependencies, configuration issues, and resource needs to technical and management stakeholders.
