Electronic Security Senior Project Manager (Electronic Security Systems)

Location: Santa Teresa, New Mexico / El Paso, Texas, USA. Regular construction-site and client-site work is required, with local travel typically making up 70–90% of the role and frequent travel by car.

What you will do

• Lead the delivery of large-scale electronic and physical security projects across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate implementation and integration of CCTV, electronic access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter security systems.
• Develop schedules and project baselines, monitor deviations, manage construction-related risks, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
• Coordinate site verification, design reviews, system programming, testing, commissioning, documentation, and final checkout.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, margins, and corrective actions to protect profitability.
• Manage client relationships, punch lists, project turnover, and training with clients and service teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction trades or Electronic Security Systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering waterfall schedules to fixed deadlines, managing quality and profitability, and applying PMP methodologies.
• Experience with enterprise-level clients and client-facing responsibilities.
• Ability to understand when to apply Agile methods within a waterfall program.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and willingness to travel up to 25% are required.

Nice to have

• Experience managing large, complex technical projects within an at-scale program.
• Electronic Security Systems experience.
• Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) certification.
• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
