Electronic Security Project Manager (Electronic Security Systems)

Location: USA. Frequent travel to client and construction sites is required, including local travel within approximately a 2-hour driving distance and occasional air travel. The role involves regular construction-site work, PPE, and physical activity.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale electronic and physical security systems projects.
• Manage scope, schedules, baselines, budgets, costs, margins, quality, risks, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate implementation of CCTV, electronic access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter security solutions.
• Coordinate site verification, design reviews, system programming, testing, commissioning, documentation, and final checkout.
• Partner with site supervisors, general contractors, end users, internal teams, and enterprise clients to resolve issues and manage punch lists.
• Facilitate project turnover and client and service-team training.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction trades or electronic security systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering waterfall schedules to fixed deadlines while controlling quality and profitability.
• Experience with client-facing and enterprise-level projects, PMP methodologies, and best practices.
• Ability to apply Agile methods within waterfall programs and improve processes through CPI.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and willingness to travel up to 25% are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with large, complex technical projects within an at-scale program.
• Electronic Security Systems experience.
• Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) certification.
• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
