Project Manager, Military Space Strategy and Execution (Military Space)

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 per year for Colorado

What you will do

• Lead the development and implementation of a Military Space performance-excellence framework.
• Develop scalable project-management processes, standards, templates, tools, and performance measures aligned with PMBOK principles and contractual requirements.
• Assess program operations, contractual deliverables, execution challenges, risks, schedules, staffing, quality, and customer commitments.
• Capture lessons learned and support corrective actions and continuous-improvement initiatives across Military Space programs.
• Support organic and competitive growth through market research, capture planning, solution development, proposals, reviews, and customer presentations.
• Coordinate operations, business development, technical, contracts, finance, and functional stakeholders while supporting division strategy and growth priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of project or program management experience in DoD, military space, aerospace, intelligence, or another technical environment.
• Experience developing project-management processes, tools, standards, governance practices, schedules, resources, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
• Working knowledge of PMBOK principles and DoD acquisition, contracting, budgeting, program execution, or technical-review processes.
• Ability to analyze Performance Work Statements, Contract Data Requirements Lists, and other contractual deliverables.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for assigned projects.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional certification.
• Experience with the U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command, Air Force Research Laboratory, or related organizations.
• Experience developing program management offices, delivery-excellence frameworks, dashboards, metrics, SharePoint sites, or digital collaboration tools.
• Familiarity with CPARS, DoD contract deliverables, program controls, technical proposals, capture strategies, recompetes, and on-contract growth.
• Experience with automation, analytics, Copilot, or responsible AI applications in project and program management.
