Base salary: £75,400–£113,000 GBP gross for United Kingdom Zone A; £86,200–£129,400 GBP gross for United Kingdom Zone B; €72,300–€108,500 EUR gross for Lithuania Zone A.

What you will do

• Lead the Google team responsible for hirify.global platform support across Android-based mobile, laptop, and other device form factors.
• Own near-term execution and the team’s technical strategy.
• Deliver platform integrations for full-screen experiences, device input methods, and ecosystem services.
• Research and implement runtime optimizations that improve game startup and performance across low- and high-specification devices.
• Establish benchmarks, analyze hirify.global engine performance, and align improvements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor, coach, and develop engineers while communicating the team’s vision and progress.

Requirements

• Experience developing and managing a high-performance software engineering team.
• Strong Android platform knowledge across native C/C++ and Java and Kotlin layers.
• Software engineering expertise with working familiarity with C++, C#, and Java.
• Experience collaborating with product owners and external partners on benchmarks, technical specifications, and interdependencies.
• Ability to understand and assimilate a large, complex software product.
• Professional English proficiency is required for frequent written and verbal communication with colleagues and partners worldwide.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with real-time 3D rendering techniques and graphics APIs, including Vulkan.
• Experience leading remote teams using Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of applying AI in software development and optimization workflows.
• Passion for computer games or real-time 3D experiences.
