Android Software Engineer

Location: Hybrid work in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania; two days in the office are recommended but not enforced. Up to 90 days per year may be spent on workation, including up to 21 days working outside the EU.

Salary: €4,975–€6,725 gross per month.

What you will do

• Design and maintain core Android architecture, shared libraries, and developer tooling.
• Create developer experience solutions that enable Android engineering teams to ship product features efficiently.
• Contribute to Android build systems, observability tools, and platform stability and scalability initiatives.
• Collaborate through GitHub pull requests, code reviews, and cross-team platform projects.
• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, snapshot, and UI tests.
• Work with Android, Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, and related tools used by a marketplace serving over 100 million members.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of software engineering principles and Android-specific technologies.
• Experience with future-proof software architecture, design patterns, Android architecture, and Kotlin coroutines.
• Ability to assess solution trade-offs and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work with an experienced engineering team.
• Availability to work in a hybrid setup in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania.
