TL;DR
Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin/Compose, Fintech): Building visually rich Android interfaces that make investing and complex financial products accessible to users with an accent on custom UI, security, and end-to-end app delivery. Focus on experimenting with Android technologies, writing testable code, and owning the lifecycle from ideation to the Play Store.
Location: Vienna, Austria; opportunity to work from abroad is available.

What you will do
- Design and implement Android user interfaces that make investing and complex financial products accessible.
- Build visually rich experiences and custom UI components.
- Experiment with new Android technologies to improve the platform.
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code with security as a first-class concern.
- Own the full application lifecycle from ideation through delivery to the Google Play Store.
- Collaborate with software engineers, academics, product stakeholders, and other teams.
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience with or interest in Kotlin, RxJava, Coroutines, Compose, Dagger, and GraphQL APIs.
- Strong analytical thinking across technical and product domains.
- Passion for great user experience and custom UI development.
- Clear, concise communication with engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the Android framework and interest in other technology stacks.

- Prior fintech experience.
- Interest in investing or experience as a customer.
