Electrical Design Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Hybrid from the Luxembourg office, with three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Design electronics for high-volume manufacturing of a 48V inverter for an automotive customer.
• Review and approve electrical design requirements, perform worst-case analysis, and analyze circuits against customer requirements.
• Develop schematics, finalize the Bill of Materials, and release product development documentation.
• Lead printed circuit board layout activities with ECAD and participate in electrical DFMEA.
• Plan and execute design verification tests and support Design Validation and Process Validation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, test, validation, client-site, and customer teams across regions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with electronics design for EMI/EMC compliance.
• Experience with Functional Safety ISO 26262 and FMEDA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, CAD programs, and simulation tools.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

• Previous design experience in power electronics.
