Electronics Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Own electronic hardware development from requirements and architecture through detailed design, manufacturing, verification and qualification.
• Design and review digital, mixed-signal and power electronics, including high-speed interfaces, signal integrity and power integrity.
• Develop schematics and multilayer PCBs, covering stack-up, grounding, impedance control, EMC/EMI and design-for-manufacturing.
• Lead PCB bring-up, board-level debugging, rework, functional testing and hardware/software integration.
• Define verification approaches, prepare test procedures and support environmental test campaigns, including anomaly investigation.
• Act as technical owner for work packages, contribute to technical reviews, mentor engineers and maintain engineering documentation.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of professional experience in electronic hardware design and development across multiple engineering lifecycle phases.
• Strong experience with digital, mixed-signal or power electronics, schematic capture, circuit analysis, simulation and multilayer PCB design.
• Practical experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, rework, functional testing, verification procedures and requirements traceability.
• Ability to lead complex technical work, make engineering trade-offs, identify risks and defend designs during technical reviews.
• Good scripting and programming skills for engineering, testing and automation; Python and C/C++ are preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience designing electronics for planetary rovers, lunar surface systems, space or other harsh environments.
• Knowledge of radiation effects, EMI/EMC, signal integrity, grounding and shielding.
• Familiarity with ECSS or IPC standards and environmental testing such as thermal-vacuum and vibration.
• Experience with OrCAD, FPGA-based hardware, Xilinx devices or automated hardware characterization with Python.
