TL;DR
Process Engineer (WaterTech): Designing desalination and wastewater treatment plants with an accent on process engineering, hydraulic calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and project compliance. Focus on developing cost-effective treatment solutions, supporting procurement and commissioning, and solving complex plant design and start-up challenges.
Location: Remote from any location; listed location: Warsaw, Poland. Working hours aligned with Israel Standard Time are preferred. Availability for on-call support and travel for commissioning-related business trips may be required.

What you will do
- Design desalination and wastewater treatment plants, including mass balances, process flow diagrams, hydraulic profiles, preliminary layouts, and P&IDs.
- Perform hydraulic calculations covering flow rates, pressures, velocities, pipe sizing, and material selection.
- Prepare line, equipment, motor, instrument, valve, and I/O lists, as well as technical specifications and data sheets.
- Support procurement through equipment selection, supplier evaluations, and technical reviews.
- Develop sequences of operation, commissioning and start-up procedures, and plant operation and maintenance manuals.
- Participate in technical meetings, engineering status updates, commissioning activities, and on-call project launch support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Water and Wastewater Engineering is mandatory.
- At least 10 years of experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry and in engineering project companies.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, PFDs, mass and energy balances, P&IDs, and technical data sheets.
- Experience working with equipment suppliers and conducting technical evaluations.
- High-level technical English is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Proficiency in MS Office and company shared-folder systems is also required.

- Hands-on experience with plant commissioning and start-up.
- Willingness to travel for commissioning-related business trips.
- Availability for on-call support during project launches.
