Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Design Engineering for Datacentres (Data Centres)

What you will do

• Develop mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering solutions for large greenfield and brownfield data centre campuses.
• Design cooling, water treatment, fuel storage, power, renewable energy, service routing, site connection, and access systems according to discipline.
• Collaborate with clients, authorities, utilities, and multidisciplinary internal teams to define requirements and deliverables.
• Work in BIM environments and produce or review drawings, specifications, technical documentation, and submittals.
• Apply data centre design codes, standards, constructability, scalability, sustainability, health and safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Lead engineers and modellers where applicable, including risk assessments, value engineering, change management, and technical coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Experience with BIM, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or similar design software.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Proficient English is required; additional language skills are advantageous for international projects.
• Data centre experience is beneficial but not essential; experience with complex industrial facilities is also relevant.

Nice to have

• Professional accreditation such as RIBA, CEng, PMP, LEED AP, or MCIOB.
