Product Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Opole, Poland; hybrid work with 3 days from the office and 2 days remotely.

Salary: 1,000–1,400 PLN/day net + VAT on a B2B contract.

What you will do

• Manage and support automotive product development from concept through production launch.
• Translate customer and design-team changes into production while maintaining quality, timing, and cost requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, manufacturing plants, engineering, and production teams.
• Support DFA, DFM, QFD, CAE/FEA, CAD, dimensional variation analysis, tooling trials, tool sign-off, and process readiness.
• Support APQP, FMEA, PPAP, FuFu, homologation, NPI, and RASIC activities.
• Report deviations, define corrective actions, resolve technical and purchasing issues, and improve cost-effective product and manufacturing solutions.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in automotive product engineering or 7 years in automotive production engineering.
• Bachelor’s or diploma degree in automotive, plastics, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent automotive production engineering experience.
• Fluent English required. Polish and German are optional.
• FMEA training or 4 years of automotive production engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of GD&T, DFM, DFA, CAE/FEA, CAD, FMEA, and DVP&R.
• Cradle-to-grave project experience, including process and tool maturation, program launch, and adaptability to business travel.

Nice to have

• Experience in surface development.
• Conversance with major CAD systems used in automotive design.
• Polish or German language skills.
