Audio & Communications Engineer (Broadcasting)

Location: Richlands, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia; work is based at the Richlands warehouse and includes availability to work around Australia, including weekends and evenings.

Provider of outsourced television production and technical services for live sports, entertainment, corporate events, and studio productions, operating across 25 countries.

What you will do

• Set up and operationally test audio and communications facilities for field and studio projects.
• Ensure audio communication facilities throughout the outside-broadcast compound are patched and ready for scheduled handover.
• Coordinate with the Audio Director and Technical Manager on facility scope, production schedules, and technical requirements.
• Maintain a neat, professional, and safe working environment for colleagues and the public.
• Support live sports and other productions requiring weekend and evening work.

Requirements

• Solid working knowledge of Riedel and RTS communications systems, or similar systems.
• Basic knowledge of audio consoles, particularly LAWO and Calrec.
• Operational experience with audio and communications equipment, ideally including engineering-level understanding.
• At least 3 years of television broadcasting experience is preferred.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and around Australia is required.
