What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and support a small team of service technicians.
- Manage the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of video, broadcast, AV, and production equipment.
- Develop preventative maintenance schedules and prioritise service work to meet rental commitments.
- Coordinate equipment turnaround and availability with warehouse, operations, and technical teams.
- Maintain service records and equipment history in the Easy Job ERP system.
- Coordinate suppliers and manufacturers, manage purchase orders, and support asset lifecycle planning and process improvement.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing or supervising a technical service team.
- Experience with professional video, broadcast, AV, production, or rental equipment.
- Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, organisation, and planning skills.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to warehouse and operations teams.
- Commitment to quality, customer service, continuous improvement, workplace safety, and company procedures.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and service tracking processes.
- Certificate II or III in Electronics, Certificate III in Electrotechnology, an equivalent technical qualification, or relevant industry experience.
- Manufacturer training or certifications related to video, broadcast, AV, or production equipment.
