OTR Mobile Unit Driver (CDL)

Location: Remote (US); 100% travel required throughout the United States

What you will do

• Drive mobile broadcast units over the road to events throughout the country.
• Operate and maintain mobile units according to company standards and FMCSA regulations.
• Assist engineers and technicians after arriving onsite.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning, and track equipment and maintenance status.
• Follow through on repairs, inventory needs, and mobile-unit updates.
• Provide onsite client service and technical support at major broadcasting and sporting events.

Requirements

• Class A CDL required.
• Ability to drive manual transmission; all vehicles use 18-speed manual transmissions.
• At least three years of driving experience preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Current FMCSA physical exam card, clean driving record, and readiness for random drug testing and required medical examinations.
• Passport or ability to obtain one, and willingness and ability to travel 100% of the time.
• Technical degree or accredited CDL driver training certification preferred.

Nice to have

• Broadcast engineering skills and knowledge of television broadcast technology and equipment.
