Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. Extensive travel of up to 100% may be required. After successful completion of the program, relocation to the designated home location of the assigned business unit is required; mobile unit engineering apprentices remain based in Pittsburgh for an additional year before moving to their selected location.

What you will do
- Complete hands-on technical rotations in field shop operations, equipment preparation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical procedures.
- Handle, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber-optic systems.
- Work with copper cabling, connectors, termination, testing, and broadcast signal infrastructure.
- Support panheads, tripods, camera equipment, electrical systems, and power distribution.
- Install, wire, configure, document, test, and troubleshoot integrated broadcast systems.
- Apply technical knowledge alongside experienced engineers during live production road assignments.
Requirements
- Associate or technical degree in Broadcast Communications, Electronics, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- Formal training or hands-on experience in electronics, broadcast technology, cabling, or IP networking preferred.
- Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and technical systems quickly.
- Ability to travel extensively, up to 100%, depending on the assigned role and business unit.
- Ability to relocate after successful completion of the program.
