Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Hybrid role based in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, United States; travel as necessary is required.

What you will do

• Align human resources initiatives with business objectives and advise leaders during business planning.
• Support workforce planning, talent strategy, compensation, learning and development, employee engagement, succession planning, and performance management.
• Support business transformations, acquisitions, integrations, and other organizational changes by assessing people impacts and developing change and communication strategies.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders on strategic hiring priorities and workforce requirements.
• Coach leaders on performance management, employee development, and leadership effectiveness.
• Provide workforce insights, advise on employee relations, resolve complex issues, and improve HR processes with HR Operations and Legal.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience across human resources; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment legislation.
• Experience building teams in a matrixed, global organization and working with international and diverse cultures.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and willingness to travel as necessary.
