AV Onsite Technician

Location: London, England, United Kingdom; onsite, full-time. Core hours are standard business hours, with flexibility required for evening and occasional weekend work.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and execute AV production and technical support for live, virtual, and hybrid events.
• Prepare meeting and event rooms, including furniture layouts, room resets, signage, presentations, and Teams/AV system testing.
• Provide technical support and Meet & Greet services for hosts, clients, and external customers.
• Act as a technical contact and, when required, an AV site supervisor while coordinating with contractors, suppliers, facilities, and client technology teams.
• Deliver user training, manage end-user requests, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Track and resolve AV hardware and software issues, maintain event-space records, conduct post-event reviews, and perform planned preventative maintenance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar AV environment.
• Strong knowledge of modern AV equipment and systems, including signal flow and advanced troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Level 3 qualification or higher in a relevant field.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organisational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
• Background verification checks are required.

• CTS certification.
• Manual Handling certificate.
