Quality Control Technician (Broadcast Equipment)

Location: On-site in Van Nuys, California, United States; Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed.

Salary: $18–$20 per hour.

What you will do

• Test broadcast equipment in the rental inventory to ensure proper operation.
• Configure equipment and systems according to client specifications.
• Build and assemble racked systems and equipment packages.
• Package equipment for client rentals.
• Provide technical support to clients in person or by phone when required.
• Continue learning new technologies within the broadcast industry.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of broadcast equipment and video/audio standards.
• General networking knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to handle unexpected issues.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
