Technician (Audiovisual)

Location: On-site in a hotel or convention center environment; work may take place at multiple hotel locations.

Hourly pay: $20.00–$24.50.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and break down basic audiovisual systems for events.
• Meet with guests and clients on site to confirm needs and ensure equipment operates properly.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and handle event changes professionally.
• Follow venue safety requirements, supplier protocols, and company procedures.
• Coordinate equipment requirements with staff and outside vendors.
• Prepare, label, scan, load, unload, and store audiovisual equipment; complete order entries and client invoices as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Ability to achieve Technical Level 3 Certification within 180 days.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license required when operating company vehicles; additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
• Customer service, hospitality, or audiovisual experience is preferred.
