Mobile Test Automation Engineer (iOS)

Location: Onsite work five days per week in Southern Sweden. Commuting is possible during the first 3–6 months with travel and accommodation covered as business travel expenses; relocation to Sweden is required afterwards.

Salary: 300–450 SEK/hour on a B2B contract.

What you will do

• Conduct functional and regression testing across multiple platforms, with a focus on mobile environments.
• Plan, document, and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies.
• Identify, reproduce, analyse, and report defects and feature-related issues.
• Automate test cases using Swift-based frameworks, including XCTest and XCUI.
• Analyse test coverage, track progress, and communicate testing results.
• Collaborate with development and design teams to ensure visual, functional, and UX quality.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with at least 3 years in QA or software testing within complex software ecosystems.
• Strong test automation experience, preferably with XCTest and XCUI.
• Background in manual QA testing and structured testing methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of Swift, plus experience with Python and Unix/shell scripting.
• Experience with defect analysis and triage, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and meet onsite requirements in Southern Sweden.

Nice to have

• Experience with device-level or hardware-related testing.
• Knowledge of Objective-C or SwiftUI.
• Familiarity with automation pipelines, test dashboards, or reporting tools.
