QA Engineering Leader | Range Operations (QA Automation)

What you will do

• Lead and continuously improve the QA and test automation approach across Range product and platform teams.
• Develop QA test plans, define acceptance criteria, and coordinate testing for built and purchased software solutions.
• Coach product teams, testers, and developers on QA frameworks, methodologies, automation, and quality-first delivery.
• Drive test data creation, mocking, decoupled architectures, interface-level testing, and early defect prevention.
• Provide subject matter expertise in performance testing, penetration testing, and high-availability assurance.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders and consultancy partners on quality reviews and delivery improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on software engineering experience and 5 years of experience with QA processes, testing methodologies, and QA tooling.
• Strong knowledge of agile and DevOps practices, product decomposition, Conway’s Law, blue-green deployments, and automated regression testing.
• Experience building and maintaining web test automation frameworks with Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Experience designing frameworks in JavaScript or TypeScript and integrating them deeply with CI/CD through GitHub Actions.
• Fluent written and spoken English and the ability to work primarily from the Malmö workplace.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sentry, Splunk, or similar monitoring and real-time error-tracking tools.
• Experience with procurement processes and quality assurance for off-the-shelf or SaaS solutions.
• Experience with non-functional requirements and performance testing practices.
