TL;DR
Aircraft Technical Representative - Recovery Operations - PVD (Aviation Maintenance): Maintaining and restoring Breeze recovery aircraft through aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, engine runs, taxi procedures, and corrective-action documentation with an accent on FAA compliance, airworthiness, and operational safety. Focus on resolving aircraft issues with OCC and recovery pilots, executing recovery plans, and maintaining Airbus A220 and Learjet aircraft in demanding ramp and hangar conditions.

Location: Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport, United States; onsite recovery operations with travel to assigned recovery locations

What you will do

  • Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, troubleshooting, engine runs, and taxi procedures on recovery aircraft.
  • Work with OCC, recovery pilots, contracted maintenance partners, and other departments to resolve aircraft issues promptly.
  • Execute recovery plans and ensure aircraft airworthiness and safety in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of discrepancies, corrective actions, inspections, parts, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and operational work area while properly handling aircraft components and calibrated tooling.
  • Support recovery operations, maintain guest service standards, and report operational matters to Recovery Maintenance management.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and hold a valid passport with no travel restrictions.
  • Current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License with no history of infractions and recent commercial aircraft experience; a Repairman Certificate may also be maintained where applicable.
  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial airline or charter operations, plus compliance with 14 CFR 65.83 recency requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications.
  • Fluent English with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours; travel on assigned charter flights for multiple days; pass DOT drug testing and TSA and company background checks.

Nice to have

  • Degree in aerospace, aviation maintenance, or business.
  • Knowledge of FAA FAR Part 121/135 operations and international charter operations experience.
  • Experience maintaining Airbus A220 and Learjet family aircraft.
  • Experience with maintenance information systems such as CAMP.
