Process Architect I (Life Sciences)

Location: Hybrid in Singapore, Singapore; moderate travel is required to meet client and project needs, attend speaking engagements, and participate in industry events.

What you will do

• Lead and execute architectural design phases from programming, planning, and feasibility through detailed design, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Develop conceptual designs, BIM models, construction drawings, and specifications for life sciences projects.
• Coordinate architectural, engineering, BIM, client, and external project teams within cost, time, and quality constraints.
• Support resource planning, proposal pricing, client meetings, project programming, and commercial targets.
• Manage discipline-related project communications, fieldwork, construction visits, and special projects.
• Mentor junior architectural staff and provide constructive feedback to support their professional development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in the life sciences industry, including biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or cell and gene therapy projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of International Building Codes and experience preparing construction documents, graphics, detailing, and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Commercial skills for managing project hours, commercial return targets, and change management procedures.

• Knowledge of cGMP requirements for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and cell and gene therapy facilities.
