Assistant Store Manager Visual Merchandiser I

Base pay: $18.50–$38.25 per hour

What you will do

• Lead visual merchandising standards, floor sets, product launches, windows, seasonal presentations, product placement, replenishment, and visual updates.
• Support the Store Manager with sales forecasting, category initiatives, KPI monitoring, and strategies connecting visual merchandising with traffic, product priorities, and customer behavior.
• Deliver an elevated customer experience and uphold Coach service, styling, product knowledge, and brand standards on the sales floor.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop team members while building a collaborative talent pipeline.
• Support virtual shopping, clienteling, customer data acquisition, and social media-informed customer engagement.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, safety, shipment, vendor relationships, and operational compliance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury or fashion experience is preferred.
• Strong customer focus and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to exceed performance standards.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail systems, plus knowledge of omnichannel services and clienteling strategies.
• Strong English proficiency and availability for a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days. Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, as well as climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver through the sales floor and stockroom.
