Manager, Software Engineering

What you will do

• Lead software engineers in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise applications.
• Define system architecture, scalable system designs, data models, and coding standards.
• Manage project timelines, resources, deliverables, and collaboration with product, QA, operations, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct code reviews and oversee quality assurance, performance, scalability, and security requirements.
• Troubleshoot development and production issues and drive software development process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer or Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in software engineering, technical leadership, project management, or a related role.
• 5 years of software development experience with Java/J2EE, debugging, testing, performance tuning, and version control systems.
• 3 years of experience with Spring Boot, SOAP/REST web services, and object-oriented design and development.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and JMS, plus event-driven distributed systems, AWS, JIRA, Confluence, SQL and NoSQL data modeling, in-memory databases, and Apache Flink.
