Application Engineer P1 (Optical Engineering)

What you will do

• Support application engineering activities for semiconductor test and measurement solutions.
• Work with probe system tools and apply technical knowledge to customer and development requirements.
• Set up design-of-experiments studies as a problem-solving technique.
• Manage projects and communicate with colleagues across management, sales, and global teams.
• Analyze technical obstacles and develop solutions using logical problem-solving methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, physics, optical engineering, silicon photonics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience with probe system tools preferred.
• Basic knowledge of laser fiber operation and principles preferred.
• Experience with equipment vendors or research, development, or high-volume manufacturing fabs preferred.
• Fluent English verbal, email, and report communication required.
• Project management experience and the ability to work with colleagues at different levels.
