Senior Field Readiness Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; onsite role with regional or cross-regional travel up to 50% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Lead service product readiness validation for complex products, new modules, and multi-site readiness streams across Etch, MDP, and DDP.
• Identify and close readiness gaps across documentation, tooling, preventive and corrective maintenance, training, spare strategy, and AIx coverage.
• Coordinate first installs, early deployments, regional teams, blockers, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer.
• Validate and improve tooling, installation procedures, PM and CM procedures, control plans, and escalation structures.
• Lead field sprint planning, backlog management, KPI tracking, risk-to-resolution activities, and retrospectives.
• Analyze tool, field, and customer data and translate findings into service recommendations, specifications, and technical narratives.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in Etch, MDP, or DDP products is preferred.
• Expertise in product readiness, serviceability, product introduction, equipment systems, and fab operations.
• Experience solving complex product and service issues using multiple data sources and field evidence.
• Project management experience covering sprint execution, backlog management, SOW clarity, KPI tracking, reporting, and risk closure.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional and customer-facing stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, materials, chemical, industrial, automation engineering, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with agile or sprint delivery, Jira, and SOW development.
• Experience with AIx tools, predictive maintenance, process optimization, product application engineering, or fab-side digital products.
• Exposure to readiness governance, FMECA updates, control plans, and escalation structures.
