Toolsetter - 3rd Shift (Injection Molding)

What you will do

• Install, remove, prepare, clean, inspect, and repair molds, fixtures, and related tooling.
• Interpret tool setup sheets, technical drawings, blueprints, standard operating procedures, and quality documentation.
• Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and mechanical machine tools to fit and assemble mold components.
• Operate forklifts, walkie stackers, and overhead cranes to safely handle molds and equipment.
• Perform quality checks, document tooling changes, and respond to quality and process data trends.
• Support uninterrupted production and contribute to product and process improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• 0–2 years of experience setting up molds in an injection molding environment.
• Knowledge of molding machine mechanics, production equipment, tool design, shop mathematics, metal properties, and assembly procedures.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude, injection molding skills, strong math skills, and the ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand written instructions in English.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, stand for long periods, bend and twist safely, and lift up to 40 pounds.
