Machine Operator - 3rd Shift (CNC)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

Salary: $23.15–$30.37 per hour

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, maintain, and operate laser systems, manual presses, NC/CNC presses, and cutting machines.
• Use computerized manufacturing systems to meet production and customer requirements.
• Position materials and tooling, maintain dimensions, and edit machine programs according to production documentation.
• Inspect finished work against blueprints and dimensional requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with equipment troubleshooting.
• Follow safety procedures, maintain an organized work area, and support continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of assigned production processes and manufacturing safety procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring equipment such as tape measures and calipers.
• Ability to lift, slide, and shake heavy gauges of material.
• Computer experience with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards, and Radan.
• Forklift license or ability to obtain one.

Nice to have

• One year of CNC manufacturing equipment experience.
• Three or more years of production work experience.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and 5S activities.
