Area Branch Operations Manager (Industrial Gases)

Location: Glendale, California — retail shop; travel within the assigned territory and minimal overnight stays required.

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 per year, plus a monthly auto allowance.

What you will do

• Support the District Manager in improving branch safety, profitability, effectiveness, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Analyze and report branch metrics, pricing initiatives, and operational performance.
• Guide and support Branch Managers and contribute to area and regional milestones.
• Develop sales, promotional, and pricing strategies to achieve business goals.
• Build key-account relationships and establish mutually beneficial customer agreements.
• Champion safety and security principles across branch operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; an undergraduate degree in a related field is beneficial.
• Around five years of progressive experience in retail sales or branch/production operations.
• Two to five years of experience guiding and developing teams through supportive leadership.
• Sales or operations experience in the distribution industry is beneficial.
• Ability to work at the Glendale, California retail location and travel within the assigned territory.
