Senior Manager, Vault Operations (Logistics)

Location: Onsite at the vault facility in New Castle, Delaware, United States

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Own vault operations end to end, including P&L, throughput, staffing, technology, customer accounts, vendors, and expansion.
• Drive P90 intake and outtake speed, build capacity and forecasting models, and design multi-shift, weekend, and surge coverage.
• Create and maintain SOPs for receiving, surveillance-based unboxing, digitization, cataloging, storage, picking, packing, secure transport, claims, and high-value or international outtake.
• Manage enterprise vaulting accounts, custom workflows, partner escalations, staffing models, SLAs, and QBRs.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to launch intake automation, imaging and cataloging workflows, APIs, and vault management software.
• Lead machinery procurement, vendor management, carrier negotiations, inventory planning, capital investment, and expansion into new vault locations.

Requirements

• 7+ years in operations, logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain, including 3+ years managing teams and ideally managers.
• Experience owning a P&L or large budget and making operational tradeoffs.
• Direct accountability for throughput, cycle time, SLA performance, and high-volume physical operations.
• Experience building SOPs and training programs across shifts, leading through managers, and developing teams.
• Experience managing enterprise or B2B relationships with custom workflows and formal SLAs, plus strong customer-facing communication.
• Experience negotiating with vendors and carriers, analyzing operational data, and working with high-value assets, custody, insurance, machinery, or logistics.

Nice to have

• Experience with secure logistics, 3PL, warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment, collectibles, or other high-value physical operations.
• Experience using AI for capacity modeling, SOP drafting, throughput analysis, or vendor evaluation.

Hiring process
