Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States — home office

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Own scoped software features and AI/ML model delivery from implementation through testing, iteration, and support.
• Write clean, reliable code across multiple programming languages and drive the full software development lifecycle.
• Integrate AI, machine learning, and generative AI tools to improve software intelligence and development efficiency.
• Design scalable and maintainable solutions based on high-level platform and product requirements.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, defect management, performance monitoring, and automated testing.
• Mentor peers and promote engineering best practices, continuous integration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience with a relevant bachelor’s degree, or 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with one or more of JavaScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, code review, debugging, documentation, and technical solution design.
• Experience delivering features and models through collaborative, iterative development and continuous integration.
• Experience integrating AI/ML components and using generative AI development tools.
• Effective collaboration and communication with engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
