Hardware Engineering Intern

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of two days per week from an HPE office in the United States

Salary: USD 35.00–41.00 per hour in Texas and Wisconsin

What you will do

• Support senior electrical engineers in designing and validating new and derivative PCAs based on system and board requirements.
• Bring up, debug, and validate PCAs in an engineering test laboratory.
• Perform electrical characterization of boards and circuits for high-performance computing systems.
• Track and document issue discovery, investigation plans, results, resolutions, and closures in issue-tracking databases.
• Work independently and participate in task teams addressing complex system and problem analysis.

Requirements

• Be actively enrolled in a university, college, or other institution and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Have completed the third year of university or equivalent technical coursework.
• Coursework in digital and/or analog circuit design is desired.
• Experience with electrical laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, load tools, and multimeters is desired.
